Snowpack

Dug a pit at treeline just below common bowl on SSW aspect. HS 115cm. Notable rain crust around 70cm from ground had some facets above and below and was reactive. CT18 and ECTP17 on the crust. Snow above the crust was super soft and unconsolidated but wind picked up throughout the morning and lots of flagging on peaks observed midday. Basal facets looked pretty well healed and rounded and were cohesive.
