Route & General Observations

Started from the Sunburst parking lot at 11:00 am, alder bashed up, one lap in stormy conditions with low visibility and flat light, back by 3:00 pm.

Big fat wet snowflakes made for some sticky heavy snow. Around 3-4″ new snow by the late afternoon. Lots of roller balls.

Pretty gusty above 1500’ with plenty of wind loading, skin track filling in quick. One person in the party noticed a large glide crack on S face of Sunburst. Knee deep snow on S face, much barer on W face. No whumpfing, shooting cracks, etc.
