Johnson Pass trail to about 1200 ft.

Weather

High 20s, low visibility, moderate snowfall most of the day. Snowfall was increasing around 4:00. Snow to sea level.

Snow surface

6-12” above a thin crust, lots more fresh below!
Snow below 1000 ft was pretty wet & heavy.
Snow above 1000 ft was bottomless Chugach hero.
Hand pits seemed to be upside down, we kept it low angle today.
